Château Bellevue is located in Saint-Émilion, one of the most elegant areas in the region. It currently owns just under six hectares, all dedicated to the production of its first wine.

Bellevue has 10 percent of its vineyards on the plateau and the remaining on the upper slopes. It is one of those estates that enjoys an excellent position but remains somewhat outside the spotlight.

Chateau Bellevu 1975

This 1975 vintage is a wine that has stood the test of time well.

The signs of tertiary evolution are certainly evident, and perhaps a slight cork defect limits its full potential, somewhat closing off the finish on the palate.

However, the nose remains rich, with clear notes of red fruit blended with tobacco aromas.

It enters the palate beautifully, with a mid-palate that is still lively, though the finish is perhaps slightly dried out due to the cork that hasn’t withstood the pressure of time. Rating 92
