Château Carbonnieux. This 2021 vintage is the offspring of a particular year in Bordeaux, following an important trilogy.
The weather conditions reminded some of 2014 and others of 2017. The season was challenging but characterized by a good end.
The wine I purchased several bottles of, I must say, is marked by its consistency. It’s like a trusted friend who never lets you down.
With an expressive nose, very Bordeaux-like, it has the ability to maintain a fresh and lively mouthfeel with a sprint that runs along the entire palate.
Good mid-palate, pleasant with all notes just right and a moderately persistent finish. A wine that is easy to drink and can satisfy all palates.
Even the uncompromising who seek a pleasant wine and recognize its precise placement; as well as those who enjoy a good glass that tells something more.
Certainly (and this is a fact experienced in the field), the bottle never remains full. Rating: 93
